Aukland University & Biomechanics

“Biomechanics technology and approaches should be used to help enhance performance in golf,” was a conclusion published in Sports Medicine by Aukland University of Technology. The study also found that the qualitative and quantitative data that a biomechanist collects like body angles, joint forces and muscle activity patterns are instrumental in guiding golf professionals and coaches with effective instruction. Analysis results help golfers with various physical characteristics reduce the risk of injury and enhance performance including  maximizing the distance and accuracy of all golf shots (swing and putting).
